Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near network outlet.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable from network switch to LAN port on phone.
  2. Connect computer (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  4. Connect power: Use PoE or plug power adapter into DC jack and wall outlet.
  5. Connect headset (optional): Plug into 3.5mm headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone may obtain IP address automatically via DHCP.
  2. Server configuration: Enter IP address of your Mitel or SIP server if required.
  3. Extension setup: Enter extension number and authentication credentials.
  4. Date and time: Set manually or synchronize with network time server.
  5. Ring tone selection: Choose preferred ring tone from available options.

Settings: Time/Date, Ring Tones, Display Contrast, Language (English default), Network Configuration, Audio Settings (handset volume, speaker volume, ringer volume). Advanced: Call Forwarding, Do Not Disturb, Speed Dial setup, PIN change.

Connecting to Network

LAN: Use Ethernet cable to LAN port. PC: Connect computer to PC port for pass-through.

  2. Connect Ethernet cable from network jack to phone's LAN port.

Tip: Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for optimal performance.

Basic Call Handling

Supports making, receiving, and managing calls.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial or wait for auto-dial.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. End call: Hang up handset, press Speakerphone, or press End Call soft key.
  4. Hold: Press Hold button during active call.
  5. Transfer: Press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, press Transfer again.
  6. Conference: Press Conference, dial first party, press Conference again to add second party.
  7. Redial: Press Redial to call last dialed number.

WARNING! Do not expose phone to liquids; keep away from heat sources.

Advanced Features

Call Forwarding: Forward calls to another number via menu. Do Not Disturb: Activate to silence calls with visual indicator. Speed Dial: Program keys for one-touch dialing. Directory: Access personal and corporate directories. Message Waiting: Visual LED indicates new voicemail.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use slightly damp, lint-free cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
