Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near network outlet.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable from LAN port to network switch or wall jack.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Connect handset: Plug handset cord into designated jack on phone base.
  4. Power the phone: Use included power adapter or rely on PoE from switch.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow prompts on display.

  1. Network registration: Phone will attempt to obtain IP address via DHCP.
  2. Server configuration: Enter IP address of Mitel communication server if required.
  3. Extension assignment: Administrator will assign your phone number/extension.
  4. Test call: Make a test call to verify audio and connection.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect during firmware updates. Contact administrator for server details.

Controls and Settings

Connecting to Network

  4. For PC connection, plug cable from PC port to computer's network port.

Tip: Verify link LED is solid green on Ethernet port for connection.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic call functions.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial soft key.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. End call: Press End Call button or replace handset.
  4. Hold: Press Hold button during active call.
  5. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target number, press Transfer again.
  6. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to merge.

WARNING! Ensure proper dialing prefix (e.g., 9 for outside line) if required by system.

Advanced Features

Voicemail: Access by pressing Messages key or dialing voicemail number. Call Forward: Configure via menu or codes (e.g., *72). Speed Dial: Assign numbers to programmable keys. Do Not Disturb (DND): Activate via menu to silence ringer.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth for exterior; dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.

CAUTION! Avoid liquids near openings. Keep away from extreme temperatures.
