Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect to PoE switch or injector.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Optional headset: Connect to 2.5mm headset jack if needed.
  4. Power connection: Use PoE or connect optional power adapter to DC jack.

WARNING! Use only Mitel-approved power adapters. Ensure network cable is securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network registration: Phone will automatically attempt to register with Mitel system.
  2. Set language: Press MENU, navigate to Settings > Language, select preferred language.
  3. Program feature keys: Press MENU, navigate to Features > Programmable Keys.
  4. Adjust volume: Use volume keys to set ringer, speaker, and handset levels.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect during firmware updates. Ensure stable network connection.

Basic Operations

Making and receiving calls, hold, transfer, conference.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during active call.
  4. Transfer: During call, press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again to connect.
  6. Volume adjustment: Use volume keys during call or from idle state.
  7. Mute: Press MUTE to toggle microphone on/off.

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on keys or handset cord.

Advanced Features

Speed Dial: Program numbers to programmable keys. Call Forwarding: Forward calls to another number. Do Not Disturb: Block incoming calls with customizable message. Call Park: Park call for retrieval from another phone.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth for exterior; dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
