Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from your network switch into the LAN port on the phone.
  2. Connect Computer (Optional): Plug your computer's Ethernet cable into the PC port on the phone.
  3. Power the Phone: Use the provided power adapter or ensure your network switch provides PoE.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug the coiled handset cord into the dedicated jack.
  5. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug a 3.5mm headset into the headset jack.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will attempt to boot and register with the communication server.

  1. Initial Boot: Wait for the phone to complete its startup sequence and display the main idle screen.
  2. Network Configuration: Typically automatic via DHCP. Check with your system administrator for static IP if needed.
  3. Server Registration: The phone should auto-provision. If not, enter server address provided by administrator.
  4. Set User Preferences: Use the phone's menu to set language, time/date, ring tones, and volume levels.
  5. Program Keys: Assign line appearances, speed dial numbers, or feature keys as required.

CAUTION! Do not unplug the phone during firmware updates as indicated on the display.
