Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect LAN port to network switch.
  2. Connect computer (optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to computer.
  3. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  4. Power the phone: Use PoE from switch or connect AC power adapter.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone will obtain IP address via DHCP automatically.
  2. Provisioning: Enter provisioning server URL if required by your system administrator.
  3. Set language: In Settings menu, select preferred language.
  4. Configure time/date: Set time zone and date format in Settings.
  5. Program keys: Assign functions to programmable keys via web interface or phone menu.

Advanced Call Features

Supports call transfer, conference, hold, forward, and voicemail.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press Hold key during active call.
  4. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again.
  6. Forward calls: Menu > Call Forward > enable and set destination.
  7. Voicemail: Press Messages key or dial voicemail access number.
  8. Speed dial: Press programmed speed dial key.

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms. Use hands-free option if available.

Accessibility Features

Visual alerts: Flashing LED for incoming calls. Audio adjustments: Separate volume controls for ringer, handset, speaker. Large font: Option for larger display text in settings menu.
