Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place phone on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port to your network switch. For PoE, ensure switch provides 802.3af power.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to your computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  4. Connect Headset (Optional): Plug headset into dedicated headset port.
  5. Power: Phone will power on via PoE or external power adapter if required.

WARNING! Use only approved power sources. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Phone will boot and attempt to obtain network configuration via DHCP.

  1. Check Network Connection: Ensure Ethernet link is active (LED illuminated).
  2. Verify Registration: Screen will show "Registering" then extension number when registered to IP PBX.
  3. Set Language: Press the Options key, navigate to Settings > User Preferences > Language.
  4. Set Date/Time: Usually configured automatically via network or PBX.
  5. Program Keys: Use Options menu or web interface to assign functions to programmable keys.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect during boot process. Contact administrator for IP address or SIP credentials if auto-configuration fails.

  3. For PC pass-through, connect computer to phone's PC port.
  4. Phone will obtain IP via DHCP. Static IP can be configured via menu.

Tip: Use quality cables and avoid running network cables near power lines to reduce interference.

Basic Call Operations

Making and receiving calls.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone/Headset key, dial number, or use speed dial.
  2. Answer Call: Press flashing line key, or press Speakerphone/Headset, or lift handset.
  3. End Call: Press the Release key or return handset to cradle.
  4. Hold: Press Hold key during a call. Press again or resume from another line.
  5. Mute: Press Mute key to disable microphone. LED lights when muted.
  6. Adjust Volume: Use Volume keys during a call for handset/speaker, or when idle for ringer.
  7. Redial: Press Redial key to call last dialed number.
  8. Call History: Press the Directory key to view missed, received, and placed calls.

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on keys or handset cord.

Advanced Features

Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, then complete transfer. Conference: During a call, press Conference, dial second party, then press Conference again to merge. Forwarding: Set via Options > Call Forwarding (Always, Busy, No Answer). Speed Dial: Program keys via Options > Speed Dial Edit. Do Not Disturb (DND): Activate via Options or programmable key.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth with water only. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

CAUTION! Never spray liquids directly on the phone. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
