Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  2. Connect PC (optional): Plug PC Ethernet cable into PC port on phone.
  3. Connect Handset: Insert coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  4. Connect Power: Use included power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE).
  5. Power on: Phone will boot and attempt to register with the IP telephony system.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

After powering on, the phone will attempt automatic configuration. Follow on-screen prompts if required.

  1. Network Registration: Phone obtains IP address via DHCP. Check display for registration status.
  2. Extension/Line Configuration: Usually provisioned by system administrator via Mitel platform.
  3. Set Language: Press MENU, navigate to Settings > User Preferences > Language.
  4. Set Date/Time: Typically synchronized from network or telephony server.
