Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near network outlet.

  3. Connect Handset: Plug coiled handset cord into the handset jack.
  4. Connect Power: Use provided power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE).

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; it will attempt to boot and register with the phone system.

  1. Network Configuration: Typically automatic via DHCP. Check with administrator for static IP if needed.
  2. System Registration: Enter extension number and credentials as provided by administrator.
  3. Set Language: In SETTINGS menu, select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Adjust Audio: Use volume keys to set handset, speaker, and ringer levels.

CAUTION! Do not place phone in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press corresponding line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD key during a call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, announce call, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: During a call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again to merge.
  6. Voicemail: Press VOICEMAIL key or dial voicemail access number.
  7. Program Speed Dial: Menu > Features > Speed Dial, assign number to a programmable key.
  8. Call Forward: Menu > Features > Call Forward, enable and set destination number.

WARNING! Do not use liquid cleaners on the phone. Keep liquids away.

Accessibility Features
